Government Arts and Science College, Karwar was established in the year 1977 by the Govt is known to be a pilot project launched by the Government of Goa. Situated at the junction of the two most important talukas in Goa, the institute caters to the higher education needs and wants of students of nearly 100 villages. It was established to bring good quality higher education to the youth of Goa.. of Karnataka. It is affiliated to Goa. It offers UG, PG & Research programs in the fields of Arts, Commerce, and Science. Admission and same is done based on the merit of the qualifying exam.
